Anyone remember Tiger hand held video games?
I remember I had a bunch of these growing up.

SNOW DAY

On Sunday we decided to go to the mountains.
We had been to so many cities we wanted a change of pace.
It was a long time since any of us had been to the snow,
I hadn't seen snow since it snowed in Visalia back in 1999.
So as you can see, I was pretty excited.

When we got to our "spot" we did what anyone would do. WE WENT SLEDDING.

We hung out for a few hours than called it a day. If you decided to go to the snow, I suggest you invest in snow boots and snow pants. Because I had neither and I was freezing. But who needs common sense anyway?
Much Love,

Last Weekend: SLO/L.A.

So heres a re-cap of last weekend. We decided to go San Luis for the day. A few friends, just to go relax and hang out. So we grab a bite to eat at Wienerschnitzel. The food wasn't very good but my friend Ryan insisted to go. Not to mention we were in Hanford and if you're from the Valley you know how awful their water is. After we ate we headed off for another adventure. On our way to San Luis Obispo we stopped at the James Dean memorial.Next thing you know, we are in SLO :]We hung out downtown for awhile. We went from store to store. We found an awesome skate shop that had some original pieces from Shepard Fairey (Obey). He's a big influence in my artwork so I was stoked to see it. After that we paid a visit to the infamous gum alley. Anyone else think we should start one in Visalia? Maybe around Main Street?

After that we kinda got bored and headed off to Pismo Beach. We ate at Splash Cafe and then went to Avila Beach. These birds are really intimidating when you're up close. So as the sunsets we decided to call it a day. We go grab a bite to eat at AppleBee's. Ryan decided to do his John McCain impression and doesn't notice that the waiter is standing right behind him watching him. Then as we're about to leave he spills water on himself and leaves before anyone notices. As we walk back to the car we decide to gas up before we leave for home. In the gas station parking lot Ryan proposes the question to go to L.A. What do we say? LETS GO. So at 9pm we continue our journey to L.A. We finally arrive around 12am but we take some pit stops along the way. Around 2am we get tired of trying to find cheap hotels. Did you notice whenever you're in a big city you can't find the simplest things? As we go off the freeway we take a wrong turn. And when I say wrong turn I mean we end up in COMPTON at 3am. We did what any smart person would do, make the fastest U-Turn of your life. We finally got out of there and as we thought the nightmare was over Kao notices that we are on Compton Ave. So we get out of there like a bat outta hell. And we safely get back to Santa Monica. Time was getting the best of us as we desperately searched for hotels. At 4am we completely gave up at parked at a hotel next to LAX and slept in the car. We got a good 4 hours of sleep.
When we woke up we got some breakfast at IHOP and then drove around L.A. We also paid a visit to the La Brea Tar Pits. Oooo Dinosaur bones. The thing I love most about L.A. is the city is full of life. There is so much going on. And there is street art EVERYWHERE. It's great inspiration.

We ended the day by riding beach cruisers from Santa Monica to Venice Beach. It was pretty amazing. Remember to always party.
Much Love

San Fran Trip!

So the other day me, Kao, and some friends went to the bay area. We left for the day just to get out of the valley before break ended. Kao and I didn't even sleep, we pulled an all nighter than got picked up at 6am. And so the day begun. We ended up leaving around 6:30am because Ryan had to get some gas. I don't think any of us had actually been up that early in a long time. The freeway was foggy, and boy it was cold outside. An hour or so into the drive we had a pitstop at a Save Mart. Kao just slept in the car while me, Kris, and Ryan left to go find the bathroom. I didn't go, but I did happen to find the ice cream.Right after Save Mart we decided to eat some breakfast at Mcdonalds. Who new Chowchilla was full of just old people? Oh well, Kao did find Ronald Mcdonald though.
And now we were back on the road. When we finally reached the Bay Area we decided to stop by Berkley. We ended up exiting the freeway and waiting behind a car for 7min before realizing nobody was actually in the car in front of us.

Berkley is a really quiet place around winter break. There was pure silence in the town. So what do we do? Drive around yelling random things at people. Kao kept yelling out "I LOVE L.A." while Ryan called white people "Crackers" (even though he's white himself). It was really funny. We decided to get the hell out of Berkley because we just got too bored. We headed off to S.F. to hang out. It was around 12pm. When we got there, we didn't really know where to go. Ryan didn't want to go to Fishermans Warf, which I don't blame him because there is nothing but tourists there. So we just went exploring. We finally decided to go check out the Golden Gate. Ryan hadn't been there for a long time. Me and Kris had never been there. I think Kao has been there before, since he's from Oakland. But i'm not sure. The view from the bridge is beautiful. It's also terrifying because i'm afraid of heights. Me and Kao kept our distances.
The Strategy Kids! Me and Kao
A lot of people have jumped off the Golden Gate. They even made a documentary about it, some people say its the heart attack that kills you and not the fall itself. In my opinion, if you jump off that bridge either way you're gonna die.
After that we decided to do some more exploring. We went in some random direction and actually ended up out of San Francisco. But we did see a nice rainbow in the tunnel we drove through./>The town we ended up in was no fun. So we we headed back into San Fran trying to find a decent pizza place. We ended up checking out the Embargadero.

It was nice weather that day. We still couldn't find any pizza places to eat at. We did spot a JFK wheatpaste.Right after that we walked back to the car. Going again, in random directions. We actually ended up turning on a one way street...the wrong way. People started flipping out and honking at us. It was so funny. We came across this huge shopping center. I don't know what street it was on, but there was a bunch of shops. It was awesome. But we were still hungry.
Ryan and Kao hanging out at the Diesel shop in S.F.We asked some random people if they knew where there was some good pizza. Of course they weren't even from SF and couldn't help us. Luckily, this very nice lady led us in the direction of Blondies Pizza. And lemme tell you, that was some goooood stuff. We didn't do too much after that. We ended up walking around some more, but headed back. It was getting late.
So we were back on the road. But we made sure to yell at people in the car as we drove by. Did I mention Kris proposed to a girl standing on the side of the road? Anyay... as we walked back to the car some random girl was standing by it. We were talking about birthdays, and as we got into the car Ryan told Kris to ask her to marry him. So we rolled down the window, and said it. She laughed, and started talking about how shes a capricorn. Ryan told her to have a nice day, then as we were leaving he said "sluuuuuuut". It was kinda funny, cause we hadnt even fully left yet and she was RIGHT by us. We started laughing, and said how messed up that was. In the long run, he didn't mean it. But we're never seeing this person again. So whatever. On our way home we ended up taking the wrong exit. It took us FOREVER to get back to Visalia. We ended up in Paso Robles! We were about 20 min away from the beach. We were gonna stop by, but Kris had to be home. The day was great, we had a chance to just forget about the Valley and all our problems in it.
T-shirts will be ordered soon, so be on the lookout.
Much Love!
